American Medical Staffing is hiring School Speech-Language Pathologists in Washington County, Maryland. You will provide therapeutic treatment for speech and language issues to children in groups as well as individual therapy sessions. Most of our School SLPs have a caseload with 1 school; occasionally the caseload could cover 2 school sites. Mileage and time are always paid if you are driving between school sites. School SLP Caseload details: Preschool up to 40 students Elementary up to 50 students MS/HS up to 60 students Caseloads will include children with literacy focus, language delay, articulation and phonology focus, developmental delay, social and emotional affect, autism spectrum diagnosis, down syndrome, and other speech and language issues. As the SLP in the school, you may work with children in mainstream educational classrooms as well as academic life skills classrooms.
