Data Analytics and Marketing Automation Lead Job Summary:Sparks Group has partnered with a globally renowned company based in McLean, VA to find a Data Analytics and Marketing Automation Lead. This is a direct hire opportunity! In this role you will grow the use of analytics and automation tool processes to best support communications and marketing efforts to meet and engage with key audiences. You will aggregate and analyze relevant digital marketing metrics and develop actionable insights and recommendations. As the Data Analytics and Marketing Automation Lead, you will also be responsible for managing Salesforce Marketing cloud as it related to data querying and segmentation audience journeys, form creation and management and other data related components of the platform. You will continue to work with internal stakeholders to develop the use of this newly implemented tool as well as act as the go to person for this tool.Data Analytics and Marketing Automation Lead Responsibilities:Lead the integration and management of key marketing and data management systems (Salesforce/Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Datorama)Help define digital marketing metrics aligned to marketing and business strategic priorities and monitor performance using analytics from web (Google), Salesforce, social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) and paid media (various platforms).Use data visualization tools (Google Data Studio/Tableau, etc) to develop dashboards and reports on marketing activities and their effectiveness to inform decision making.Sift through large amounts of data to extract key insights for presentation to internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Collaborate on marketing campaigns.Conduct ongoing analysis of the effectiveness of current channel mix and develop recommendations for new ideas and approaches for the team to consider.Conduct and analyze results of A/B testing to develop recommendations for internal stakeholders.Data Analytics and Marketing Automation Lead Qualifications:8+ years of related experienceIn depth knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Analytics/Datorama Reports, Automation Studio and Audience Builder (Database Management/Segmentation)Strong database and data visualization skills (Google Data Studio, Tableau or related)Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience with Journey Builder, Email Studio, Ad Studio and Mobile StudioExperience writing, reading and editing SQL and AMPscriptStrong project management capabilities to lead and execute various marketing initiatives across multiple teamsAbility to build processes and reporting strategy from the ground upAbility to provide technical subject matter guidance and coordinate with tam membersAbility to understand and translate detailed technical and analytical information for a variety of audiencesBachelor's degree in analytics, marketing information systems or relatedGoogle Tag Manage, Khoros or similar are preferredCertifications in relevant platforms is a plus
