Terms and Conditions applied Responsibilities:Repair, install, maintain, calibrate and inspect a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic biomedical instrumentationComplete all required paperwork on new equipment inspections and equipment repairs and failures accurately and on timeProperly maintain company issued equipmentMaintain expected productivity according to productivity and billing requirementsStay current with new products and new technologies in the biomedical industryCommunicate job status to management100% field service comprised travel primarily throughout the Mid-Atlantic service territoryRequirements:Strong demonstrable technical troubleshooting abilityWorking knowledge of electronics, electricity, electro-mechanical, fluidics, pneumatics and hydraulic theories and practicesUnderstanding of and ability to operate specialized test equipment used on medical equipmentBroad knowledge base of various hospital/homecare medical equipmentExcellent computer skills including proficiency with (MS-Windows, MS-Office Suites)Must have flexible schedule as starting and ending times vary dailyAdaptable and able to respond to changing priorities while remaining focused on resultsPhysically able to fulfill job functions, including lifting up to 75 lbs., using small tools and BMET equipmentAssociate's degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology (or successful completion of the military BMET school)Who you are:Team player, highly organized and detail orientedExcellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skillsStrong, consistent work ethic and time management skillsAbility to multitask and meet deadlinesAbility to work in a high paced work environmentMaintain high level of customer serviceProactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving process improvementsExperienced in servicing biomedical equipment, preferably in a field service environment.Become a Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician or Manager:Because we believe in only offering our clients the most exceptional level of service, we encourage and will pay for the CBET and CHTM certification exam application fee and study materials for our technicians and management.We pride ourselves on our low employee turnover and credit our successful employee retention to superior pay levels, our reputation as a stable and growing company, and our teamwork mentality.
