The City of Alexandria is located in northern Virginia and is bordered by the District of Columbia (Potomac River), Arlington and Fairfax counties. An Overview

The Organizational Development & Equity Management Analyst supports the Department of Community and Human Services’ Organizational Development & Equity (ODE) Office. Performs analytical and evaluative work in planning, organizing and carrying out the functions of a variety of major administrative assignments to improve the effectiveness of the department and enhance work culture. Organizes and maintains department-wide racial equity and related training program for all DCHS employees including maintaining employee training database. Serves as the primary resource person for the ODE Division Chief. Responsible for planning, coordinating, organizing, tracking and carrying out administrative duties and functions for the Division Chief. Prepares memorandums from the Division Chief to staff and the department’s Leadership Team. Conducts surveys, analyzes findings, and makes related recommendations as appropriate. The incumbent also supports various department-wide initiatives, committees and workgroups and the Department’s Social Services Advisory Board (SSAB).
