The Boeing Company's Office of Continuous Improvement in the Engineering, Test, and Technology (ET&T) organization is seeking to hire a Process Analyst - Software Engineering to work in a virtual capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to join an Enterprise level effort to revolutionize software development processes and products at Boeing. As a member of the Continuous Improvement team, you will be involved in improving the software developer experience throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from idea creation, budgeting and planning, development, all the way through to deployment and support of the architectures and products produced by engineers. Your contributions to the developer community include culture change, innovation, and empowerment working with developer advocates to inform policies and procedures that best represent the needs of our software engineers. Position responsibilities: Manage internal communications, feedback, and engagement with Boeing's software engineers Build the discipline of Continuous Improvement into Boeing Software Engineering Lead integration with organizations partnering with Software Engineering Help define Software Engineering's identity outside Boeing Manage communications for the Office of Continuous Improvement at various levels of leadership Improve end-to-end business processes to adapt to the needs of the software engineering body Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment Remove hurdles and roadblocks for software engineers Interface with teams across the Enterprise to develop and leverage improvements Support successful continuous improvement across the Enterprise Software organization; promoting positive change throughout software engineering Learn from and lead others while driving quality, efficiency, safety, and security in software products and processes This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to live in Seattle, WA. Travel up to 10% may be required. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience working with, designing and improving business processes 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal role 3 + years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership 3+ years of experience preparing and presenting to executives, senior leadership, and external customers Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher Scaled Agile (SAFe) certification Software engineering domain experience Experience with Agile software development Experience interfacing with senior leadership to remove hurdles Experience designing and maintaining project measurable/metrics and reporting out results Experience working with software product customers and end users Typical Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
