Our financial client is looking for a Marketing Analyst to work a hybrid schedule in their McLean office - Tuesdays and Wednesdays onsite, the rest remote. This is a 6-month temp-to-permanent position. The person we're looking for has demonstrated experience leveraging marketing data and technology to improve the full life cycle of the customer experience. He/she will have a passion for delivering concrete results by analyzing various types and sources of data, mining the business insights they provide, and telling the story of those insights in the form of opportunities/recommended actions. This person will, in essence, be our Customer Whisperer. He/she will have a positive attitude and approachable demeanor, ready to lead and execute cross-functional initiatives, communicate with peers and senior leadership and manipulate large data sets in Excel or other available tools to provide high value, 360 insights on our customers. Lastly, this candidate will learn new tools and technology to consistently enhance/upgrade the quality of our data, analytics, and KPIs. This position is part of the Digital Marketing & Operations team, focused on supporting the larger Marketing & Customer Experience department, collaborating with internal business partners and corporate teams. The role will provide marketing systems data and analytics support, ad hoc analyses, and generate standard reporting practices designed to make our customer experience more holistic, an integral part of meeting both division and enterprise-wide goals. You'll be part of a dynamic, creative team that encourages independent thought, as we're looking for a self-starter who's not afraid to push the envelope and try new things. Day to Day Responsibilities Own Contacts and Engagement Data Manage email marketing segmentation for business, events, and training communications, customer surveys, and marketing campaigns, as email subscriptions. Proactively manage our customer database using retention and reengagement strategies and ensuring data quality, to include weekly maintenance of contact records. Be Our Data & Analytics Authority Reply to business areas' customer data inquiries and determine what types of customer reporting are needed, generating targeting strategies that help solve challenges. Be a key partner to the Marketing Communications team, sharing useful data in an educational manner, instilling confidence in content choices, and motivating a diverse set of stakeholders to apply data-based recommendations to the content creation process. Be Our Reporting & Visualization Expert Demonstrate how customer data applies to and improves critical success metrics for all digital campaigns/communications. Develop KPIs and create/monitor Google Data Studio dashboards to reliably track, report, and visualize our data, conveying performance trends quickly and easily. Provide data and analytics guidance to corporate stakeholders and external vendors/agencies, including GA360 reporting to compare/combine performance of our owned content with earned and paid content. Construct Customer Engagement Strategies and Tools Create customer surveys, forms, and landing pages that support business initiatives and improve customer engagement. Build/maintain our mobile app for external and industry workshops, forums, and conferences. Support production and sales teams by advising on building engagement via automation. Qualifications for the Responsibilities Bachelor's Degree required; related majors preferred (data analytics, marketing, etc.). Minimum 5 years of proven hands-on experience in a digital marketing and customer data management/analytics capacity, including use of marketing automation platforms Oracle Eloqua CX Marketing platform experience preferred 2-3 years of Google Analytics 360 suite and digital analytics experience; Google Tag Manager experience is a plus Expert Excel skills and very strong capability with large data sets 2-3 years of experience with Survey Monkey, User Zoom or similar programs Experience supporting event management systems; Cvent is preferred and Crowd Compass is a plus Working knowledge of HTML/CSS is preferred to support/troubleshoot email campaigns and to build forms and landing pages PDN-96dfcf6a-5478-4cc8-baff-e905e74b427c
