Selectee will be required to complete form FD-887, Request for Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).Mission Statement:The mission of the FBI is to protect the American People and uphold the Constitution of the United States.Major Duties Serves as a Master Electronics Technician (ET) in a leadership role at a quasi-professional level of responsibility in the engineering, planning, training, procurement, test, evaluation, installation, and maintenance of Bureau's complex communications/network and intrusion detection systems and associated wide/narrow band wireless communication equipment. Provides advisory services to high level technical officials of national and international stature regarding novel electronics systems, investigative techniques and scientific developments. Prepares and maintains report documentation, project files and schematics of modified equipment. Inspects, tests and repairs electronic equipment and systems to ensure technical integrity.
