GEICO's Talent team is looking for innovative and analytically minded Director of Campus Recruiting who will reimagine our recruiting & selection processes to create the future state processes for the talent acquisition function of Campus/College recruiting while enhancing the candidate experience and journey!The ideal candidate is someone who can leverage strategic and operational abilities to develop and implement programs to influence our business on how we attract, engage, and recruit students on university campuses. In this role, the Director will be responsible for building a pipeline of talent for the GEICO organization at a companywide level across systems, processes, sourcing and pipelining, assessment, and selection. The selected candidate is passionate about the best-in-class experience that will appeal to a diverse set of the best future leaders. The team will be responsible for delivering more than 700 future leaders into internships and entry level management programs across multiple businesses and corporate areas at GEICO.Essential Job Functions:Lead, develop, and manage high-performing campus recruiters responsible for hiring into our GEICO programsWork in collaboration with the stakeholders to develop and implement recruiting strategies including selection systems that will guarantee that the company attracts and hires best in class talent from campus, GEICO events, and conferencesDevelop & execute plans to support entry level management recruiting hiring initiatives to effectively implement across the organizationOwn recruiting programs, processes, and infrastructure to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of process and outstanding candidate experience.Take ownership of the employer branding efforts both externally and internallyOversee the compliance of all internal and external regulations related to recruitment and selection processRepresent GEICO on campus and at various events by presenting to students on career opportunitiesEnsure teams are consistent in interview structure and evaluation of candidates.Build and manage relationship opportunities with representatives from universities and key student organizationsInternally, build and maintain relationships with GEICO program management teams, hiring managers, and key stakeholdersEnsure proper visibility of Campus Recruiting team and intern programs with management, schools, and other key constituentsDevelop and contribute to processes for evaluating intern hiring needs/demandMaintain relationships with recruiting teams, both campus and experienced, to align and leverage best practicesLead intern evaluation and selection process that leads to decisions on full-time offers to internsDefine and measure hiring and experience success KPI's /metricsSeek out opportunities to obtain external benchmark data and share best practices on campus recruitingQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field required, Master's Degree or MBA highly preferred5+ years of campus recruiting experience & additionally with management responsibilities in a senior manager or director capacityProven technical experience in the design and execution of recruiting processes, procedures, concepts, and tools focused on designing recruiting process and workflows with a focus on the candidate experienceOutstanding project and process management skills; highly organized, process driven, detail-orientatedPassion for working with and assessing university studentsFlexible and adaptable to a fast-paced work environmentWorking knowledge of EEO and all other applicable employment laws, policies, and regulationsMay require up to 10-20% travel to our regional officesBenefits:At GEICO, we make sure you have the support and resources to leverage and develop your skills, secure your financial future, and take care of your health and well-being.
