St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary's City is accepting rA$ (C) sumA$ (C) s for the position of Government Relations Liaison. This position reports to the President and is responsible for coordinating College's activities related to government affairs. Duties include maintaining and nurturing relationships with government officials, committees, and offices, as well as assisting in the development of institutional strategies, policies and plans related to issues related to government relations issues. The position includes on-site and remote work and a 60% (annual 1,248 hours) expectation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; Minimum of five (5) years government relations experience; and must possess a valid driver's license. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, and proof of COVID-19 vaccination, medical and religious exemptions will be considered.
