We are looking for a highly analytical leader to join our team as a Research, Analytics, and Development (RAD) Planning team.As a Project Manager (Data Governance), you will manage the RAD departmental business planning and budgeting process, manage the departmental hiring priorities, coordinate departmental projects and systems implementations with this role, you will:Have basic understanding of data governance frameworkFacilitate daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospectiveManage the engineering development projects and facilitates sprint releasesCreate or analyze business requirements documents and project timelinesGuide team in time estimating practices and facilitate team estimatesDrive team iteration execution, communicate with management and stakeholders, protect the team from uncontrolled injection of work (changes are evaluated/intentional)Manage project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at a high performanceWork with the team leads to resolve people problems and project roadblocksBe able to do post mortem and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity Leads team effort in relentless improvement, define and implement improvement stories to increase the velocity and quality of the programImplement and support principles, rules and processes Proactively identify and eliminate impediments and facilitate flow MMaintain team data in project management software (ie JIRA, Dev ops board, Manuscript, etc.) to support estimates and executionPresent high-level project readouts for senior management Supports product owner(s) with intra-team dynamics with respect to priorities and scopeCandidate Qualifications:Bachelor's degree requiredProject Manager Certification preferred3-5 years of Project Management experienceMust be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skillsMust be able to multi-taskMust be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural informationStrong verbal/written communication skillsBenefits:At GEICO, we make sure you have the support and resources to leverage and develop your skills, secure your financial future, and take care of your health and well-being.
