2022-124085This opening is for a recently awarded 5 year program that delivers a wide set of capabilities across the enterprise to include data management, data delivery, high ingest rate cloud architectures, and analytic platforms.Design and plan network communications systems. Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Conduct cost/benefit analysis and provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conduct testing of network design. Monitor network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options. Plan implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network. Advise network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations. Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. Evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network. May manage the Systems Administration function as well as associated staff.Basic QualificationsMinimum of Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related disciplineMinimum five years of experience as a Network EngineerExperience in the use of Network Engineering principles, methods, and tools for integrating componentsExperience in the use of Network Infrastructure Design as it relates to the architecture/topology of software/hardware/networksMinimum of DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IASAE Level II Certification (CASP+ CE, CISSP (or Associate), CSSLP)Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is requiredApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
