Job DescriptionThe Behavioral Health Clinical Liaison supports the state Medicaid plan by outreaching members, interfacing with behavioral health providers, and being the subject matter expert for their region. A primary duty in this role is the clinical management of mental health services and ARTS benefits through the utilization management process. Incumbent also provides a consultative function regarding behavioral health issues to care management team. Position facilitates training on topical behavioral health issues to member facing staff at plan.This position is a leader who may participate in local, regional and state level stakeholder meetings. Position serves a variety of functions in the plan including as subject matter expert, consultative to care management staff, and participation in stakeholder meetings.There will be some travel within the service area, generally less than 10%.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 55,300Maximum: 118,900Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications3+ years community mental health work experience required3+ years of experience serving chronically ill populations with mental health and Substance Use Disorders requiredMust possess an unrestricted and active state of Virginia license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP)Must be a Virginia ResidentMust possess a clean driving record, valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation for field work in either Northern Virginia OR the Tidewater region.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
