Position SummaryWorking on GEICO's Enterprise Architecture team is your opportunity to reimagine insurance while working for one of the most recognized brands in the country. As an enterprise architect, you will use your technical skills and creative abilities to collaboratively define current and target state domain architectures, drive strategic initiatives, and define our API, data, and enterprise platform strategies. Position ResponsibilitiesProvide business, data, application and technology thought leadership in discussions with IT delivery teams and business partnersWork through sets of requirements in partnership with other stakeholders to develop solution designs that map to the goals of the organizationCreate clear and concise architectural documentationWork to build consensus across the Technology Solutions department on architectural initiatives and reference architecturesLead the technical review of third-party software packages, perform buy versus build analysis, and create technical solutions through the development of proof of concept (POC) projectsCollaborate with other architects, delivery teams, and stakeholders in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment to deliver products with a strong adherence to recommended architectural designs and patternsExperience8+ years of architecture, software design/development experience in several of the following areas: enterprise application services, data, security, platform, infrastructure, and AI/ML6+ years of experience with programming languages such as .NET, C#, Java, Python, SQL, and etcetera, with expert level knowledge in at least one of them3+ years of experience with agile methods, developing end-to-end lifecycle software management, integration testing, and CI/CD automation toolsEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent verifiable experience, skillset and track record of success)BenefitsAt GEICO, we make sure you have the support and resources to leverage and develop your skills, secure your financial future, and take care of your health and well-being.
