Duties

• You will serve as the Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst for NRL's utilization of Navy ERP in the BI and Reporting area as part of the Sustainment Operations Branch in the ERP Business Systems Division.
• You will be responsible for the full life cycle of BI Reports and analytics in the BI environment in support of the Navy ERP system.
• You will work closely with Navy ERP and NRL functional subject matter experts to perform in-depth data analysis that help define requirements using best practices.
• You will create reports, adhoc queries, metrics and dashboards and other BI products as needed.
• You will perform test, evaluation and quality assurance support for BI products.
• You will develop and maintain BI configuration management supporting documentation.
• You will support end user access, resolve reported issues and respond to inquiries.

Qualifications

You will serve as a Program Analyst / Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst within the ERP Business Systems Division, Code 311000 of the NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.

The incumbent is the Business Intelligence Senior Analyst for NRL Navy ERP BI and Reporting having demonstrated extensive expert experience in highly complex data analysis, the creation of data universes, SAP Webi Reports and SQL queries as well as having an in-depth understanding of BI development processes to include metrics, dashboards and reports design and development and participating in the full life cycle of BI reporting solutions.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11/12) or pay band (NO-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: (1) Creating reports, adhoc queries, metrics, and dashboards and other Business Intelligence products as needed; (2) Performing test, evaluation, and quality assurance support for Business Intelligence products; (3) Developing and maintaining Business Intelligence configuration management supporting documentation; (4) Supporting end user access, resolving reported issues, and responding to inquiries; (5) Working closely with Navy ERP and NRL functional subject matter experts to perform in-depth data analysis that help define requirements using best practices; and (6) Utilizing a wide range of Business Intelligence tools such as SAP Business Objects (BOBJ), SAP Web Intelligence (Webi), Information Design Tool, Data Foundations, Business Layers, Universe, Structured Query Language (SQL), Informatica, and Tableau.
