The Technology Finance Office reports to the JPMWM CFO and partners with the JPMWM leadership team to strategically grow our investments market share in the United States. The team's mandate includes strategic financial analysis, agile transformation, and business management supporting technology investments across JPM WM. Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic thinker to join a high-performing team that supports JPMWM's Chief Technology Officer and Chief Financial Officer. The role will collaborate with a matrixed team across the business, technology, and finance to move the organization to the target state. You will constantly need to have a comprehensive understanding of the business including overall vision and strategy, product roadmap and workstream deliverables, program metrics and financial reporting, resource planning, and others. The role will primarily be focused on managing financials around third party relationships from planning process to vendor engagement and ongoing management. An Associate in Tech Finance would be expected to: Work with tech partners to understand 3rd party resourcing needs Manage approval process for all 3rd party engagements Track and analyze financials around vendor and other 3rd party relationships Work closely with the VMO function to ensure all reporting needs and deliverables are met Produce and review monthly report with CTOs to update them on their financial status and help them request changes to CIO and Tech CFO Synthesize key takeaways from touchpoints with CTOs and translate into quantifiable impacts to financial forecast and annual budget Participate in collaborative initiatives with key stakeholders, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests Preferred Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area Prior experience in Business Management or Financial Analysis; preferably in Financial Services and/or Wealth Management Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills Proven experience in deriving insights from data analytics (using Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools) Flexible in his/her work style, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders Self-motivated, innovative thinker with the ability to derive, formulate, and develop new concepts, processes and value-added activities.
