Responsibilities: Our 2023 Interns supporting DoD Financial Management/Audit Remediation/Accounting Consultants helps our federal clients within the Department of Defense optimize all elements of their finance management structure. Our new consultants will also build their professional and personal consulting skillsets while gaining a strong understanding of consulting within a financial capability. Key responsibilities include: Accounting and Budget managementAudit remediation activities, such as developing/updating process documentation (eg, narratives and flow charts), and developing/implementing corrective action plans to address findingsPerforming recurring testing, such as testing internal controls, designing and executing Manager's Internal Controls ProgramsPerforming and reviewing statement analysis, financial information, reporting results, and financial statement audit report analysis Qualifications: The following qualifications are REQUIRED to be considered for this role:Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, Secret, or higher level of federal/governement security clearance.US Citizenship is required for security clearance Must be currently enrolled Bachelor's or Master's degree program from an accredited United States college or university and not graduating prior to August 2023Strong organizational and communication skillsInterest in growning a career in consulting, preferably government/federal/DoD consultingThe following skills/knowledge/experience are desired for this role:United States college or university majors focusing in accounting, finance, change management, or business information systemsACTIVE and CURRENT security clearance Additional Requirements: The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
