Position Summary The Nestle USA Senior Compensation Manager leads a team to ensure a fair and competitive total compensation framework and equip our people managers with compensation knowledge and tools to attract, motivate and retain high performing talent. Reporting to Senior Director Compensation, the Senior Manager Compensation for Nestle USA will lead a team and partner with the Core Compensation team to lead Nestle in the Market compensation initiatives (Merit, STB, Equity, Recognition, Total Compensation Statements). In addition, the Senior Manager will take the initiative and be proactive to develop and implement new compensation programs based on an analytical approach balanced with independent judgment. This position will interact significantly with Senior HR Leadership and NUSA business leaders. Additionally, this role will coordinate with other Customer Facing groups to leverage common processes across all US Nestle Businesses unless business rationale requires new processes. This role is responsible for participating in the design of special or local incentive programs (ie, Sales Incentives, Factory Incentives, Retention Incentives) and administering and maintaining those incentive programs and plans. Additionally, this senior manager will lead and develop a team of three Compensation professionals. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Train Managers and HRBPs how to use compensation tools & programs (Job Catalog, NesCOMP Training, Geographical Differentials, ) to allow them to quickly make pay decisions. Work with the Core team to review Market Pricings and provide Job Descriptions, Org Charts, and other information needed to effectively price job specializations. Prepare Executive Compensation Committee submissions for submission to the Sr Director Compensation for approval by committee. Validate Executive market pricings, Conduct Job Evaluations using the Mercer IPE methodology, and ensure Global Systems are up to date. Lead the Nestle USA Customer Facing team to develop new tools, annual communications, and processes to drive compensation strategy. Responsible for establishing strong working relationships with the Core Compensation team and other Nestle in the Market Compensation teams. Develops creative solutions to compensation-related challenges that balance business considerations with retention and engagement objectives. Assist the Director during internal audits by pulling information from OPCOs to ensure Market Data, Gender/Diversity Pay, Merit Adherence to Budget and Bonus Payout Accuracy. REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field. EXPERIENCE: 10+ years' experience in compensation with 3 years' experience managing a team of compensation professionals. SKILLS: A high level of demonstrated analytical skills, interpersonal and oral and written communications skills and strong presentation skills. The position requires a high attention to detail and confidentiality as well as the ability to develop credibility.
