As a Core Equipment Engineering, CEE), Center Engineer you will review Capacity Creation Requests CCR, from various Planning organizations and create and issue Telephone Equipment Orders, TEO for the Engineering, Furnish, and Installation of Central Office Equipment. The responsibilities of a Center Engineer include, but are not limited to: -Analysis of CCRs for scope of job and nature of work. -Issuing Requests for Quote to Vendors for Engineering and Installation services. -Reviewing and properly ordering major material as required to fulfill the scope of the CCR/NFID. -Monitor, Manage, Supplement if required, and Close NSAP Financial Projects. -Work closely with Field Engineers, Network Installation, Purchasing, and Vendors to ensure all equipment is properly ordered. -Monitor TEOs for Invoice issues and payment disputes. -Review and process Change Orders as required. -Track Material for various jobs as needed. Minimum RequirementsBachelor degree or four or more years of Telecom PM experience-Minimum three or more years of relevant work experience-Knowledge of telecommunications equipment-Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Desired Skills-COE Center Engineer experience -Experience with material ordering and tracking-Experience with financial project monitoring and closure-Experience with Verizon Engineering Systems such as: CCP, UUI CoFEE, VSAP, MSolv, COEP-Experience with GSuite / Google Workspace programs (Gmail, Google Drive, Sheets)
