Job Duties Include (but not limited to): Responsible for installing, configuring, and testing operating systems, application software, and system management tools. Responsible for managing application updates by creating and configuring (SCCM) System Center Configuration Manager.Responsible for maintaining and managing unclassified networks and a series of classified networks.Plays a prominent role in maintaining servers, changing, configuring, and degaussing hard drives.Reviews new problem requests and determines if they qualify for root cause investigation and liaison with Problem resolver groups to ensure swift resolution of problems. Capable of designing, setting up, configuring, and optimizing a cloud computing environment to facilitate accessibility and eliminate cloud design issues. Skilled in replicating data in several regions and availability zones by setting up cloud control measures for fault tolerance and disaster recovery. Define access control lists for data privacy and security of data in transit and data at rest. Well conversant in AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC EBS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, and other services.
