Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking an experienced Principal Competitive Assessment PTW(Price-to-Win) Analyst to join our Sector Business Development Team. You will support new business pursuits, along with supporting strategic development and planning activities for internal customers as part of the Sector Business Development team. The primary role will lead all competitive analysis efforts by developing and providing accurate and timely intelligence on the competitive environment, analyzing key trends, competitor's critical developments, pricing, and any other relevant data to support customer needs. Lead or assist strategic projects that include data analysis, competitor research, market developments and predictive analytics This position will be located in McLean, VA. May consider full-time teleworking. Responsibilities: Continually collect and analyze relevant market and industry data, competitive and customer information to identify actionable intelligence Support Price to Win analysis in support of routine and strategic captures ranging in size and complexity from $500M and above Lead or assist strategic projects that include data analysis, competitor research, market developments and predictive analytics Develop actionable intelligence-with a focus on competitor strategies, differentiated solutions and long-range strategic plans-that directly supports position-to-win deliverables for tactical opportunity pursuits. Support capture teams to develop initial business case and refine over time Support strategic captures in developing design to cost targets Work in collaboration with pricing, business management, and capture to evaluate alternative pricing strategies Leverage industry knowledge, competitive bench-marking, commercial (subscription) databases, and internal competitive intelligence to prepare market, customer, and competitor assessments with business implications and actionable recommendations. Capable of working both independently and with teams, possessing a unique blend of technical, business, and strategic thinking skills. Candidates must understand the government procurement process, the entire capture cycle, the various contract types, and have experience working on proposals and with capture teams. Must have experience with competitive intelligence collection and be able to work simultaneously on multiple projects and re-prioritize as new opportunities arise. Competitive intelligence research on identified competitors as well as market research, analysis government buying trends and budgets to develop market and customer profiles, and perform competitor deep dive research packages. Must possess excellent communication to present and defend his/her concise analysis and recommendations to capture team members and senior leadership. Lead Black Hat Reviews and support all necessary Capture Team gate reviews with management. Basic Qualifications: Must have a 10 years of related experience. Will consider a Bachelor's degree Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting with 6 years of related experience; Or Master's degree with 4 years of related experience. Competitive intelligence and market research experience Experience analyzing government buying trends and budgets Understanding of the Business Capture process Understanding of the US Federal government acquisition process and contract types Proficiency Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft SharePoint, and ability to learn new applications Proficiency with GovWin, DACIS, BGOV, GovTribe, and FPDS Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time domestically. Preferred Qualifications: Strong professional, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and efficiently with multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of high-quality material with attention to detail. Must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance Salary Range: $83,800 USD - $138,400 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
