Job#: 1280476 Job Description: Position: Configuration Manager Location: Joint Base Andrews and Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling Clearance: Candidates must be US Citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a DoD Secret clearance as a condition of employment Duration: Long Term Contract Shift Hours: Day-Shift; core support hours are 0600 -1800 Roles and Responsibilities: Utilize configuration management (CM) tools to store, track, and manage configuration items. Maintain the CM repository and all associated artifacts Maintain the CM environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integration. Develop hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures and ensure that they are followed on hardware and software development projects. Apply concepts and define and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures, such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrate those scripts with the hardware and software build process. Ensure hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures are followed on hardware and software development projects. Required Qualifications and Experience: Solid understanding of Project Management and Project Management Office Ability to build and maintain relationships, partnerships and external networks Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and work effectively in a collaborative team environment while keeping the team informed Excellent customer facing skills Excellent researching, decision-making and organizational skills are required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project or similar project management tool Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection and other guidelines where appropriate Nice to Have: Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at least IAT level II, eg Security+ CE.
