Job Description:What You'll DoPerform on-site support for a government agency with over 100k users located in over 1500 branches.Perform monitoring and troubleshooting of an Avaya Communications Solution using such tools as NetIQ, ticketing, and collaboration solutions.Analyzing system logsInteracting with customer representatives.Interacting with tier 2/3 technicians to determine solutions to issues.Escalations as neededManaging and reporting on ticketsWho You AreCandidate for this role must have:3+ years' experience in a Voice Network Operations Center3+ years' experience in VoIP and SIP technologiesKnowledge of Operating systems, Linux and WindowsKnowledge of the following is preferred:Avaya System/Session Manager, CS1K, Communication Manager (CM), Avaya Contact Center, SIP/DS3s/PRI, NetIQ, Avaya Experience Portal.Experience with CAPRS and/or Remedy ticketing systems a plusEssential Requirements:Must be US CitizenA two year college degree or IT certificationsMust be able to obtain Public Trust Level 1 clearancePrior experience working with government agenciesExcellent writing and communication skillsProficient in the use of desktop applications and collaboration toolsCandidate local to Baltimore MD or Durham NCIn addition to the basic qualifications noted above, we find that individuals who are successful in this role have:Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and clientsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication skillsLeadership and organizational skillsAbility to work in a team environmentJoining DXC connects you to brilliant people who embrace change and seize opportunities to advance their careers and amplify customer success.
