Every employee is valued for their contributions and we all take pride in helping our customers achieve their goals, which in turn contributes to the overall success of the company.www.validatek.comSoftware Developer - JOERADJob Description:We are seeking qualified personnel to support the Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) Defense Spectrum Organization (DSO) in Annapolis, MD in the areas of E3 engineering and spectrum supportability (SS) support for policy development, acquisition support, operational support, test and evaluation, standards development, Joint Ordnance E3 Program support, Hazards of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordnance (HERO) support, and maintenance of the Joint Ordnance E3 Risk Assessment Database (JOERAD) Online tool.The ideal candidate will have a background/education in military spectrum operations and will perform the following functions:*Support review and update of E3 and Spectrum policy, directives and acquisition documents.*Support E3 and Spectrum standardization efforts across multiple government and commercial organizations. *Assist with technical efforts to improve data quality and network integration efforts of the JOERAD-O software tool.*Analyze various JSC databases (GEMSIS JDAWS/JETS) to develop, update, and maintain JOERAD US military base emitter complements for inclusion into JOERAD-O.*Review and analyze Army HERO test reports.*Support Test and Evaluation (T)/Software validation efforts and coordinate the documentation of Program Change Requests (PCRs) for the new JOERAD-O software tool.*Coordinate and organize data correction/data improvement efforts on JOERAD-O emitter, platform, and ordnance data.Position Requirements:*Secret Clearance - Required.* 5+ years of software development experience, preferably with JOERAD.*Working knowledge of Hazards of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordnance (HERO) and Ordnance operations.*Strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively and professionally at multiple customer organizational levels*Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related scientific fields (Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, or Mathematics) preferred.ValidaTek is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
