The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Database Management Analyst (SR) to provide support to the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command's (NAVWAR's) Program Executive Office (PEO) for Manpower, Digital out of Navy Yard, DC. The PEO MLB program encompasses Administrative, Total Force Management Support, and Corporate Communications & Public Affairs Support, Command Operations, and Support, and IT Management Support services. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide SharePoint/Portal Management support. Maintain websites and portals for the assigned Government organization in accordance with local and DON processes and procedures to release information. Prepare and verify processes and policies for sharing information are in place. At a minimum, this includes providing support for portal content management policies, archiving procedures, and sensitive information guidance. Transition and integrate portals for the assigned Government organization into other platforms based on the Government's knowledge and information management requirements. Examples of support functions for this requirement include conducting architectural and hosting implementation, license reconciliation, Risk Management Framework updates, portal development, data, tool, and user migration, and user implementation including deployment, user communication, and training. Develop and maintain SharePoint Portals to ensure they are continually operational. Minimize technical difficulties and assistance required for SharePoint Portal users. This requirement involves conducting routine technical maintenance, and content management support. Serve as liaison to address networks issues. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and data mining skills Excellent oral and written skills. Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned duties. Ability to explore and examine data from multiple disparate sources with the goal of drawing conclusions to address business problems. DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Experience with SharePoint and SharePoint Online management (eg, developing, customizing, and administering sites in these environments). Experience with implementing and maintaining enterprise-wide databases. REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Master's Degree-10 years' experience. Substitution: Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years of additional relevant work experience. Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or equivalent. Must maintain IAT Level II certification per DoD 8570.1M REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE: Must be a US citizen. Active SECRET clearance required.
