Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Staff Mission Assurance Engineer based out of either, Fairfax VA, Linthicum MD, or Morrisville NC. What You'll get to Do: Define and monitor mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs. Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements. Assesses program performance and risks and determines resources to ensure mission assurance. You will have the ability to work across several mission areas, product areas, and customers to be able to help facilitate internal and external risks relative to cost, schedule, technical and programmatic risks. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other STEM related degree with 14 + years of experience;12 years with a Master's; 9 years with a PhD; or 18 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Active TS/SCI or TS with SCI eligibility, and willingness to sit for a poly security clearance Understanding of 5x5 risk management process Experience with risk management tools Experience driving risk mitigation, opportunity capture, and issues resolution across all stakeholder disciplines throughout all phases of the product development lifecycle on a fast paced, complex, dynamic, high visibility program across multiple locations Preferred Qualifications: Active/current SCI access and poly Accredited certification in Quality and/or Mission assurance field Demonstrated process control and improvement experience and knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or similar tools Salary Range: $129,000 USD - $212,800 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
