If you are looking to be part of a team that is growing and changing the Tree Care Industry in a positive way while providing great career opportunities, we want to speak to you!Monster Tree Service of Montgomery County has a dynamic opportunity for an Arborist/ General Manager who will oversee daily operations, responsible for safety, sales, and P&L delivery, customer satisfaction, estimates, build territory and employee engagement while upholding the ethical standards and reputation of the organization in the community.Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations and create efficiencies: crews, equipment, and supplies.Build and implement a Territory Sales Plan for his/her territory in conjunction with Franchise Owner.Actively pursue the customer commitment to scheduling the work.Utilize sales process tools, software, and other technologies to streamline the process for the customer.Provide training and guidance to field crews in accordance with ANSI and company standards.Monitor crew productivity to ensure goals and targets are being met.Manage fleet and equipment repair and maintenance.Must be familiar with industry safety standards and procedures and is willing to enforce these standards as well as company safety policies.Coordinate with the Sales Arborist to create a daily work schedule for field personnel.Assist the owners with overflow sales estimates.Responsible for the hiring and supervision of all field employees.Coordinate training to ensure all field personnel is properly trained, licensed, etc.Qualifications: Degree in Business Management or Arboriculture, Forestry, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent experience preferredCTSP and/or ISA Certification required.Management experience in the tree care industry experienceSuccessful candidates will excel in logistics and have experience in the day-to-day operations of a business, preferably in the tree care or landscape industriesExcellent communication and leadership skills, prior experience training employees is preferredStrong leadership skills: must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and managementA clean/valid driver's licenseWe offer competitive wages commensurate with experience, training, year-round employment, state-of-the-art equipment, a positive and respectful work environment, and more!You are applying for work with a franchisee of Monster Tree Service, not Monster Franchising SPE, LLC or any of its affiliates.
