This position can be a hybrid role, offering a couple days a week of remote work. The salary range is between $42K-$60K and would include commission on top of the base salary. In addition, WBA pays for 100% of the employee's medical insurance! The person in this role will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients who are new to the agency and will serve as their main point of contact throughout the new business process. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Work with prospective clients to understand their insurance needs and exposures Quote risks with various carriers and present the best options to client Review coverage and issue policy(ies) with the carrier that is selected Follow agency standards when issuing policies and verify accuracy of coverage Maintain and update files via the agency's internal client management tool Stay up-to-date on carrier coverages and requirements Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions and tasks Develop a presence within the community and build relationships with local vendors as a referral source for new business Attend networking and local community events to build a strong professional network and generate leads About Us: Auto Home, Business and Life Insurance in Virginia Smarter insurance starts with experts who think a little differently - a company which understands your industry and what's on the line for you.
