Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Software Development Manager for the Engineering and Sciences Organization. The position is located at the Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) in Linthicum, MD where we design, manufacture, and test semiconductor products for internal production and emerging programs. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Agile software development, supporting production systems, experience with software development teams in an Agile SCRUM environment, and experience supporting users in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include: - Recruiting and maintaining staff levels - Building Software development best practices - Ensuring security posture is sustained - Maintaining development, staging, and production environments - Scope timeline tracking/ best practices / scrum master / resource management - Ensuring high availability of production infrastructure, systems, and applications - Team metrics support - Ensuring use of enterprise infrastructure when applicable - Enabling collaboration with enterprise services - Ensuring team has required tools and resources - Application support for all systems supporting operation at ATL Foundry - Maintaining Information Systems Security Procedures - Ensuring help desk personnel have tools and training needed to be autonomous - Help facilitate the evolving needs of a microelectronics manufacturing facility - Interact with internal customers as required - Other duties as assigned #NGATL Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related engineering discipline with 5 years of relevant experience (3 years with Masters Degree or 0 years with PhD). - Experience as technical lead on a software development team - Understanding of the software development life cycle - Familiarity with Agile SCRUM Framework - Experience working on a software development team using Agile principles Preferred Qualifications : - Experience supporting users in a manufacturing environment - Experience with software technologies and infrastructure - Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and/or testing - Experience leading a distributed software development team Salary Range: $103,800 USD - $155,600 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
