Industrial Bank is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of VP/Compliance Officer to work in our Risk Management department reporting to the SVP/Risk Management at our administrative office at 99 Commerce Place, Largo, MD. A Day in the Life of a VP/Compliance Officer includes the ability to perform the functions and oversee the Banks consumer compliance management program, which includes a bank compliance monitoring system, a comprehensive compliance-training program for bank personnel and reference system that provides guidance on regulatory changes. Other essential areas of responsibility include knowledge and experience in Fair Lending, Fair Credit Reporting and Community Reinvestment functions, and the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act. This position must comply with meeting compliance and audit requirements. Required Education & Experience The following qualifications and capabilities are important for successful performance of this job: A bachelor's degree in business administration, banking, or equivalent work experience Five (5) to ten (10) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of consumer regulations. Knowledge and experience in Fair Lending Regulations Knowledge and experience in Fair Credit Reporting Knowledge and experience in Community Reinvestment Act Professional certification, such as Certified Bank Compliance Officer (CBCO), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), or Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional (CRCP), regarded as an asset. Proven success in the risk management field Knowledge and experience in the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act. Knowledge of Computer software eg, MS Office suite The Standard Hours of operation is 9AM to 6PM Monday through Friday. Industrial Bank is has a Hybrid Work Model in place.
