Travel Required: None Public Trust: NACI (T1) Requisition Type: Regular GDIT - Federal Civilian Division is currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team to provide support to our Army Customer's Plans, Programs, Analysis and Evaluation (PPA&E) Branch. The mission of this branch is to responsively and responsibly shape and protect the military medical investment for the development and delivery of healthcare solutions. This position allows the opportunity to work REMOTE from home 2 days a week, once established with manager approval. In this role, the financial support includes the following tasks: Provide data analysis support to the PPA&E Branch in their development of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Program Decision Memoranda, Program Budget Decisions, Future Years Defense Program, Budget Estimate Submission, Execution Reviews, and Fiscal Year Budget Planning. Analyze large data sets in Microsoft Excel and help build spend plans, conduct "what-if" drills, assess impacts of funding changes and/or decrements, and develop projections. Consolidate financial input from financial systems and develop Excel spreadsheets providing various assessments and graphs of the data and assist in building slides for senior leaders. Provide and analyze reports on programmatic planning and execution data, provide periodic updates to financial plans, inclusive of planned release schedules noting current fiscal year activity, and submit reports that will be used to brief senior management and external funding organizations. Have the ability to handle demanding situations with clarity, focus and professionalism, and to respond quickly to quick turnaround taskers. Participates in special projects as required.
