IHIP Clinical Coordinator Southern Maryland Community Network, Inc., a private, non-profit mental health agency is seeking a full-time, exempt IHIP Clinical Coordinator for our St. Mary's and Charles County office locations. SMCN serves the Tri-County area while offering mobile support services to children, adolescents and adults with mental illnesses. Our In-Home Intervention Program (IHIP) is an intensive rehabilitation program for children. The In-Home Intervention Program (IHIP) Coordinator/Clinical Specialist is charged with the day-to-day supervisory oversight and overall coordination of the In-Home Intervention Program in St. Mary's and Charles counties, as well as providing weekly clinical supervision/support to all IHIP departments. The IHIP Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of IHIP services and assisting families in the areas of advocacy, service coordination and linkages to community resources. The IHIP Coordinator/Clinical Specialist must maintain constant contact with the IHIP Coordinator Team Lead but also exercises considerable judgment and initiative in demonstrating and presenting SMCN's natural support services philosophy and policies. Active community outreach and coordination with other human services agencies is a necessity. IHIP Coordinator/Clinical Specialist of front-line IHIP-C Specialists provides services directly related to cases including but not limited to consumer visits when staff are off, a small caseload if necessary when a change in staffing or caseload numbers/referrals occurs. Hours of employment are varied according to the needs of the staff and consumers, and may include evening, weekend and holiday hours when appropriate and necessary. Qualifications include: Licensure in Social Work, Psychology or a related field is required. A minimum of five (5) years of work experience in providing mental health services, three (3) of which must be in supervisory role with progressive responsibilities.
