The Recruitment Specialist supports the Office of Human Resources with administrative duties related to the full cycle recruiting process and staff development programs. The Recruitment Specialist leads recruitment efforts for selected openings. Contributes to the Bishops strategic plan for the Conference. Demonstrates willingness and ability to understand, respect and contribute to the USCCB mission and to fulfill job duties in accordance with its Catholic identity. Maintains all requisitions for open positions and inputs information into applicant tracking system (ATS). Closes positions in ATS when positions are filled. Dispositions applicants and ensures all applicants receive timely response regarding application status. Posts available positions on the internal and external USCCB web pages, as well as outside sources as directed. Is proactive in checking with recruiters to confirm accurate listing of open positions. Schedules interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and panel participants. Arranges meeting logistics. Serves as HRIS back-up. Coordinates quarterly Employee Socials; annual Employee Recognition Program; annual Administrative Professionals Day; and other employee events as directed. Coordinates regular publication of Conference Call Newsletter (bi-monthly). This entails contacting Conference staff for articles as well as working with supervisor to develop, write and edit articles. Acts as lead recruiter for selected positions as assigned.Assists with applicant screening, background and reference checking.Handles registration for staff development workshops.Occasionally serves as a backup providing new hire orientation.Completes other related duties as assigned. Educational Level: Undergraduate degree Major Field/Specialty: Human resources, business or related field Number of Years Required: Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience
