N Position Type Management JOB SUMMARY The Senior Digital Analyst, MDS Media is responsible for the development and operations of Rooms and Outlet Media services within Marriott's Digital Services organization, which creates and supports comprehensive in-house digital media services for participating hotels globally. This position will be responsible for overseeing all current digital media advertising strategies, optimizing for increased website visits, and testing new platforms to reach the target audience. All tactics will be economically viable, efficient, KPI-driven, and scalable. The Senior Digital Analyst works closely with internal Marriott Digital and Global Media teams, and third-party media partners to advance the value of paid media marketing. This position requires daily data analysis and reporting review, weekly media optimizations, and leading training and development of team members. The Senior Digital Analyst is expected to think analytically and will be responsible for strategizing, implementing and managing digital marketing campaigns, including but not limited to Google Ads search and display, Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn ads, to ensure MDS Media exceeds the goals and expectations of our clients. The Senior Digital Analyst is tasked with staying up to date on industry best practices, responsible for development, implementation, day-to-day operation, testing and development of new digital media products and platforms within the Digital Services programs. He or she coordinates media campaigns by trafficking the daily workflow of media buys, creative team, focusing on design, production, and content, and working directly with in-house & vendor creative teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Also work cross-functionally with the Global Media Organization and Marriott Digital teams to advance the value of paid media marketing at the hotel level. This role includes supervision of vendors with the creation and implementation of paid media strategy across client programs and for special projects. Marriott's Digital Services (MDS) team provides digital solutions for all Marriott brand hotels, globally. This centralized in-house team provides individual hotels with a range of digital services, and functions as an agency-like model within the Global Digital Services organization. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience 2-year degree from an accredited university or related experience in Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field. OR - 4-year BS/BA degree from an accredited university or related experience in Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field. 1+ years of relevant work experience (digital marketing, paid media, client services, communications, etc.). Direct experience managing campaigns in the Google Ads Platform recommended Google Campaign Manager experience a plus. A desire to think strategically, proactively, and creatively, focusing on innovative and measurable solutions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, impeccable organization, and unsurpassed attention to detail. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Managing Work, Projects, and Policies Create, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns for clients across a variety of platforms. Analyze performance of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Review briefs and campaign requests to ensure complete and clear intake of all strategy creative requests. Responsible for the exploration and discovery of viable new media channels. Identifies opportunities and lead development and prioritization of Marriott Digital Services outlet & rooms media solutions. Continually updates and aligns paid media strategies with new and emerging best practices, to improve quality, effectiveness, and efficiency. Create timelines, instructions, and potential needs for future projects. Creates new workflows, training guidelines and documentation (as needed) to continually improve paid media tactic quality and effectiveness with technology. Content Management and Execution Responsible for the daily execution of paid media strategy & tactics, including buying, ad creation, launch, optimization, and measurement of campaigns. Complies and keeps paid media guidelines documentation and standards up to date, to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to Marriott's global digital strategy. Owning Relationships Works cross-functionally with other MDS teams, enterprise and brand teams to advance paid media opportunities at the hotel level. Tools and Vendors Coordinate with internal stakeholders to achieve digital media management platform performance goals. Provides paid media training and support on internal Marriott paid media systems and tools. Main point of contact with internal product owners and outside vendors, coordinating training and support on their tools and dashboards. Measurement and Analytics Analyzes campaign performance; provides both strategic and tactical recommendations for increased performance. Identifies advertising channels that are most effective at driving website traffic. Measures the success of campaigns using appropriate key performance indicator (KPI) classifications based on media type - impressions, clicks, clickthrough rate, cost-per-click, cost per site visit, etc. Reviews and analyzes results from current campaigns and tactics, recommends changes and enhancements to help increase performance.
