Due to growth, they are looking to welcome a Bookkeeper to join their rapidly growing accounting team Schedule: 100% in Office in Owings Mills M-F 9am-5pm Employee Reviews: "Great people to work with!" Job Responsibilities: Knowledge of basic accounting concepts needed to perform bookkeeping services, internal financial statement preparation and some tax return preparation Manage all aspects of a multi-faceted investment portfolio which includes commercial real estate Developing systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts Maintaining subsidiary accounts by posting, verifying and allocating transactions Reconciling entries to balance subsidiary accounts Preparing a trial balance for the accountants Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounting for information Assisting in financial activities such as running payroll and generating invoices Preferred Qualifications for the Bookkeeper: 3+ years of bookkeeping and administrative experience Project management skills are highly preferred Strong written and oral communication skills Knowledge of QuickBooks #CFSAUG2022
