This is a REMOTE role working Central Time Zone Hours.Job OverviewCorporate Solutions Architects provide exceptional architectural design and thought leadership to our internal customers. A Solutions Architect is expected to be knowledgeable in two or more technologies within (a given Solutions area). The Solutions Architect may or may not have a programming background, but will have expert infrastructure architecture, C-level presentation, team management and thought leadership skills. You will provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more internal corporate projects; you will assist in defining scope and sizing of work; and anchor Proof of Concept developments. You will provide solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration with third party services, designing and developing complex features for internal clients' business needs. You will also contribute in a variety of roles in thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation.Responsibilities Leads and facilitates project discovery to define business, functional, and technical requirements Leads requirements gathering and/or design workshops for complex projects Make customer beta or proof of concepts successful, and help them to adopt Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology Engage with customers on additional requirements and business needs Proactively define, scope and sell follow work Act as an escalation point for risks and issues to the project team and client management Expedite resolution of issues through collaboration and executive engagement Actively participate on client engagement steering committees Project and solution estimation and team structure definition Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions Support multiple Agile Scrum teams with planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through to continuous delivery to production Liaise with offshore team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks Mentor and provide architectural guidance to multiple teams building innovative applications Drive common vision, practices and capabilities across teams Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions Engage with Technical Architects and technical staff to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs Demonstrate broad solutions technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction, exerting influence outside of the immediate team and driving change Qualifications Minimum 10 years of professional experience At least 2 corporate project implementations that exploit the full capabilities (discover, design, implement and optimize) of the Cloud Technologies Have a solid understanding of delivery methodology and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture Strong understanding of infrastructure and related technologies (hardware, virtualization, networking) Strong client management and executive level communication skills 2+ Experience with IAAS providers (GCP, AWS, Azure, Vsphere etc.) including setup and configuration Experienced in application development for Cloud platforms using technologies like Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Micro Services , REST and others Experienced in developing, deploying, and troubleshooting Kubernetes deployments Experienced in orchestrating Kubernetes deployments leveraging Service Mesh Experienced in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies Experienced in using build and deployment tools like Maven, Gradle etc. Kubernetes certification will be a plus Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) Experience in Mobile Development - Android/iOS will be a big plus Client facing or consulting experience highly preferred.
