Do you love working with Elementary students? Are you a TRAINED Montessori Guide? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We're looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Guide who has a passion for working with elementary aged children. This position is a full-time role starting ASAP! You will lead a classroom between 12 and 15 children through week to week programming, that includes computer coding, science experiments, and art projects. If you have special interest and talents that you want to share, this is a fantastic opportunity to create weekly plans for children. We will have program ideas for you to implement, as well as planning time in the afternoon for you to create your own lessons to share with the children! Each day will include outdoor time and a quiet study period for the children. About You Montessori Trained (AMS or AMI preferred) Experience working with children from 1st grade to 6th grade, in camps, babysitting or a classroom setting Valid negative TB test taken within last 12 months (prior to start date with Guidepost) Confident in implementing programs and generating your own ideas Ability to work well with other adults Growth mindset and problem-solving approach BA in Elementary Education (preferred) Familiarity with the Montessori approach to education is preferred, but not required About Us Guidepost Montessori is a community of trained educators who are driven by a deep desire to bring about widespread change in education today.
