Working in a self-managed team concept, the Program Manager (LCM) will be a part of the ENGIE's Capital Projects Team based at Georgetown University's campus. This candidate is responsible for managing the long-term care and custody of the central energy plants and the associated distribution systems (steam, chilled water, electricity, and domestic water) per a long-term (50-year) agreement between Georgetown Energy Partners (an ENGIE subsidiary) and Georgetown University. This program is a "start-up" business, and this role is fitting for a driven, creative and ambitious individual that is excited to embrace the team culture of a successful start-up organization. What you'll do: Provides leadership, oversight, reporting and support through all phases of project development and execution. Coordinates and communicates with all project stakeholders, internal and external Develop resource requirements, risk registers, and benefit estimates for capital projects. Ensure projects are executed on time, under budget, with no health, safety, environmental, and public relations incidents Collaborate in the develop of processes and tools necessary to measure, analyze, and improve the performance of the Capital Project Program and report results to key stakeholders Gain the approval of projects by selling the value and communicating the positive impacts Lead cross-functional assessments, facilitate the creation of business cases, and manage the prioritization and resource allocations to a portfolio of projects Directly manage multiple projects and/or supervise multiple projects managers, co-op and intern students, and any other support position working in the LCM program simultaneously in a high-volume environment Coordinates main activities, ideas, and lessons learned with the Director of Major Partnerships Capital Program Develop and maintain good relationships with the ENGIE subsidiaries and our partners and encourage knowledge sharing Establish and maintain good working relationships with the University staff. Carry out other duties as assigned Qualifications What you bring: Bachelor of Science in engineering or a relevant degree 5+ years of experience in a related field PMP certification is a plus Professional Engineer licensing is a plus Additional Information/Conditions: Must be eligible to work for any US employer without the need for sponsorship now or in the future Must be a champion of the six guiding principles of the ENGIE team at Georgetown University: Why is this good for the University?
