Position: Risk Management Analyst Hours of Work: Monday through Friday: 8:30AM-5:00PM To the extent permitted by law, the Company may, in its sole discretion, change the work schedule to address business needs. Work hours will depend on the business hours of the time zone serviced. Supervisory Responsibility: None In This Role, You Will Develop analytics supporting the origination and servicing strategies for a multi-product consumer finance loan portfolio. Strategies include approve/decline, line assignment, and pricing optimization to support healthy growth and profitability. This position will monitor, analyze, and enhance credit risk for a national network of branches. Responsibilities: * Under manager guidance, develops, executes, and maintains risk models and analytical strategies that will optimize lending decisions across channels. * Leverages software (SQL, SAS, Python, R) to conduct portfolio analyses and develop recommendations aimed at improving loan portfolio credit performance and profitability. * Designs and tracks portfolio key performance indicators (KPIs) and develops reporting packages used to update senior management on portfolio performance. * Forecasts portfolio metrics such as delinquency and losses using trend analyses and basic statistical modeling. * Represents Risk Department in cross-functional projects and partners across the organization to execute on key business priorities, including but not limited to acquisitions and other strategic cross-functional projects. * May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor of Sciences in a quantitative field of study (statistics, economics, finance, engineering, etc.) with strong academic record. * Power user of Excel (pivots, advanced formulas, macros). * Self-starter with exceptional work ethic, motivation, and desire to learn. * Superior attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: * SAS or R skills. * Two plus (2+) years of financial or risk analyst experience.
