Compliance Representative Hours of Work: Monday- Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM To the extent permitted by law, the Company may, in its sole discretion, change the work schedule to address business needs. Work hours will depend on the business hours of the time zone serviced. In This Role, You Will Support the Audit and Compliance department through assigned tasks, including but not limited to researching and responding to credit disputes and OFAC inquiries; conducting outbound quality assurance calls with customers; performing data entry of compliance reports; and monitoring, tracking, and reporting on compliance trends and initiatives. You will work closely with other compliance resources to communicate new policies and procedures to staff and to provide general compliance assistance. Responsibilities: * Investigates and responds accurately to direct or indirect credit disputes. * Identifies credit bureau reporting issues and report issues to management. * Participates in projects to enhance internal control and regulatory compliance. * Reviews customer information for potential OFAC hits. * Prepares and analyzes reports related to complaints, disputes, and other compliance processes in a timely manner. * Organizes and maintains storage of compliance documents as required. * Assists in performing assigned tests of transactions and other basic compliance procedures using appropriate documentation standards. * Participates in special projects as assigned. * May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service. Required Qualifications: * High school diploma. * Experience processing credit bureau disputes through e-OSCAR. * Ability to read and understand credit reports, account payment histories, account payments, and delinquency grading. * Strong verbal and technical writing skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word. * Strong organizational skills to include prioritization and attention to detail. * Experience with Metro 2 credit reporting guidelines. Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of lending, collections, fairness and ethics in consumer finance. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
