Emmes Services Pvt. Ltd , ("Emmes") is searching for Rave Programmer in Clinical Research located in our Bangalore, India office. Emmes provides flexibility for office location preference, dependent upon position.

Primary Purpose
A Rave Programmer assists in this role, you will develop solutions and recommendations for Rave custom forms, folder and matrix structures, edit checks, derivations, custom function specification, and end user guides. In addition, solution creation includes, custom function implementation and testing, and system integrations using Rave Web Services and the Batch Uploader, as well as potential use of other tools such as the ODM Adapter, ODM Accelerator and other future Medidata products.

Responsibilities
- Develops programming/configuration of Rave CRFs, folders, edit checks, derivations, integrations, migrations, and reports.
- Understands and analyzes Rave Custom Functions. For designated personnel, able to write and debug Rave CFs.
- Administers Rave modules including Reports Administration, PDF Services, Batch Uploader, User Administration, and Site Administration.
- Provides user support and technical support.
- Conducts end user training as assigned by the Director, NCI Rave Development.
- Works collaboratively with other IT staff on Rave projects.
- Works effectively with vendor partners in testing and deployment.
- Adheres to SOPs for computer system validation and all GCP (Good Clinical Practice) regulations.
- Manages time effectively. Accurately estimates effort for tasks and meets agreed-upon deadlines. Adapts to frequently changing requirements, priorities, and schedules.
- Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues in a timely manner.
- Actively communicates with the management team and clinical teams regarding build activities.
- Possesses the highest level of communication skills orally and in writing. Careful to edit written communications before sending via email. Comfortable with long distance participation in webinar and Skype meetings. Confident in speaking in all venues.
Experience
- Requires a Bachelor's / master's degree with minimum of 4-7 years of experience.
- Certified Medidata Rave Study Builders required
- Hands-on Rave Study Build experience is required.
- Hands-on Custom Function experience is required.
- Desirable experience with ROAD (Rave On A Disk).
- Knowledge of SQL
- Strong Rave Study Build and administration skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high quality results.
- Highly effective ability to anticipate problems relating to projects and to develop and implement solutions.
