Overview

In pursuit of service excellence the Recreation Leader III provides an energetic, organized, and clean environment while demonstrating a joy of interacting with participants in safe and comforting environment. This position will understand how to organize and manage recreation rentals and party rentals. The position will provide exceptional customer service and foster a happy and engaged environment.

What You Should Bring

Each member of our team is accountable for the outstanding delivery of services to the community. You will work to meet the needs of our community. To succeed as a Recreation Leader III, you should be upbeat, decisive, and responsible while giving participants a fun, clean, and organized experience. You should also be organized and possess strong leadership skills. You will have the support of and work under the direction of the Recreation Coordinator and/or Recreation Manager II. The hours will vary Monday- Sunday 9:00am- 9:00pm with primarily working Saturday and Sunday.

Program Assistant:
  • Assist with registration, data management, and recordkeeping
  • Assist with the administration and clerical needs of the programs offered
  • Day of Party/ Rental Coordinator
  • Work closely with MOD to ensure timely party transitions
  • Use good judgement in all grievances and notifies management of problems. Handles customer questions, concerns, and complaints in person, email, and/or over telephone
  • Learn and understand database Rec Trac
  • Organize rental and party request
  • Organize and manage day of rental and party set up and take down
  • Keep log of party and rental request
  • Run and update rental/reservation participant head count
  • Physically assist customer with locating rentals and parties
  • Supports the Recreation Coordinator/ Recreation
  • Develop new and innovative birthday parties amenities and themes
  • Attends all staff trainings and staff meeting
  • Effectively communicate with supervisor, staff, and customers
  • Assist in packing all materials and equipment at end of camp day and season
  • Function effectively as a team member
  • Must be able to move, life, and assemble table and chairs and set up multiple parties at a time.
  • Performs related work as required.

Minimum & Additional Requirements

High School Diploma and three (3) years of related experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. First Aid training.

This position requires successful completion of a criminal records background check and drug screening prior to employment.
