In this role, you will perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. This could be the ideal position for you, if you are a detail-oriented and analytical thinker with a talent for creating Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets.Your responsibilities- Maintain intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation- Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP- Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process, which includes monthly financial close workbook preparation- Impromptu reporting and special projects, when requested- Become well-versed in month end balance sheet account reconciliations- Maintain fixed asset ledgers, depreciation, and reconciliation- Produce analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for reporting by management- Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision- Regular maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries- Organize schedules for monthly payments and capital lease- Participate in various department-wide initiatives- Coordinate and analyze a variety of financial data, then report it in a way that is useful and understandable- Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll Requirements - Recent and relevant accounting experience- Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills- Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges- BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics- Spreadsheet and database capabilities- Current and relevant ERP system experience- Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment- Microsoft Excel experience- Cost accounting experience- Microsoft Excel experience preferred- Month end closings experience- Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
