The PLASTICS Events Marketing team is an ambitious team responsible for the strategic development and implementation of multichannel marketing campaigns in support of approximately 20 topical in person and virtual meetings and events, including the association's global triennial B2B trade show. This position supports a significant portion of this portfolio developing, implementing, and executing integrated marketing strategies that acquires and engages members and attendees and meets product growth and goals. RESPONSIBILITIESExecutes marketing plans for select conferences and meetings. Manages all phases of promotional tactics including messaging, design, production, and distribution leveraging all appropriate traditional and innovative marketing channels: email and email automation, web, print collateral, social media, digital and print advertising, digital media, and event mobile applications.This position will work cross-functionally to promote PLASTICS events through press releases, media kits, exhibitor and sponsorship prospectus, and cross promotional opportunities.Build buyer personas and work closely with product team to build value-driven messaging to support marketing campaigns and website content.Implement a strategy that supports account-based marketing, including ways to target and personalize engagement based on behavior and member profiles.Manage year-round web properties for select conferences and meetings, ensuring accurate and timely content is in place pre- and post- meeting and during the event.Manage and maintain vendor/agency relationships and media partnerships, as appropriate to responsibilities.Develops and supports audience segmentation strategies to utilize prospect lists and third-party lists effectively; research new markets and develops promotional tactics to target new audiences with appropriate messaging.Collaborates with in-house creative/graphic design team member to manage design assets in support of select marketing events, programs, and operational needs.Develop appropriate KPIs and establish regular cadence or analysis and reporting for marketing campaigns.Manage and monitor marketing campaign budgets.QUALIFICATIONS3-5 years' experience in marketing events or campaign marketing role.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Association experience a plus.Excellent oral and written communication skills and proofreading ability.Experience with email and email marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot and MailChimp.Ability to work on multiple projects at once, set priorities, work independently, and problem solve.Basic understanding of digital media channels"A cents € programmatic, native, and paid social.Experience using and managing social media platforms"A cents € Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram.Experience using Google Analytics to pivot campaign strategy and drive impact and performance.Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to turn analysis into actionable programs and ability to use data to optimize day-to-day performance.Excellent attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills.Ability to travel as required.The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) is a dynamic organization with an ambitious team striving for growth and success.
