Description Robert Half is looking for a motivated candidate to join an HR team as a Human Resources Assistant in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Mgt industry. The Human Resources Assistant will be accountable for a variety of personnel related administrative tasks and will provide clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. This short-term contract to hire opportunity is with an organization in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Mortgage industry and is based in the Vienna, Virginia area.Your responsibilities- Oversee office and administrative tasks- Explore the internet to locate potential customers- Update employee database records- Develop new employee on-boarding orientation materials-Organize and conduct new employee orientation -Oversee and maintain service requests (such as questions regarding onboarding, pre-employment screening, documentation, etc) -Identify and resolve errors within service requests -Maintain appropriate documentation and adhering to the privacy of the candidates and employees Requirements - Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects- Competent in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)- At least 1+ years of HR related experience desired- Approachable and appropriate demeanor when interacting with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing environment- Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information- Human Resources (HR) Administration experience- Microsoft Office experience desired- Foundational knowledge in navigating basic office equipment and protocols- Proficiency in back office supportIf you are a self-starter who is passionate about supporting a dynamic and growing company, we would love to hear from you!
