Overview

The Indirect Processing Manager oversees the department to ensure effective performance. Manage the Indirect Processing Team Leads and the Indirect Lending Processors.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationship with automotive dealerships
  • Maintain loan production goals and manage quality control standards
  • Responsible for a high level of employee engagement
  • Supervise Indirect Processing Team Leads and the Indirect Lending Processor Team of up to 25 Processors
  • Interview/hire Teammates when needed and ensures scheduling, training, and work assignment processes are in place
  • Coordinate work schedules and leave requests to ensure adequate coverage of all duties
  • Review and coaching Team by considering work/life balance with remote and office environment
  • Work with the System Admin/Quality Control Manager to ensure the quality and integrity of the indirect loan funding process
  • Ensure loans conform to established regulatory requirements and meets credit union policy requirements
  • Maintain telephone and in-house contact with dealers and/or members to resolve problems, such as mediating member-dealer disputes
  • Maintain complete and current dealer files on hand for review and evaluation by the internal/external auditor
  • Develop and ensure that the Indirect Lending Team follows the credit union's policies and procedures
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships
  • Formulate and maintain Indirect Processing Manual
  • Supervise system tools to track and analyze indirect lending programs
  • Provide reporting, as needed, to Senior Management
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the VP National Director Indirect Lending
  • Remains cognizant of and adheres to NWFCU policies and procedures as well as regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or commensurate experience
  • Minimum 3 years of financial institution experience; two years in an Indirect Lending environment is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to perform well in high volume environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Working knowledge of management concepts and practices
  • Sound knowledge of auto loan law, rules and regulations
  • Must be available during the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday
