Sr Manager, Project Management (Trade Credit)

The Capital One Trade Credit Partner Onboarding and Implementation team is looking for a dynamic Project Manager to join the team! In this exciting role, you will work closely with key stakeholders (internal and external) to deliver results for Trade Credit's highest priority initiatives, including onboarding new Partners, internal/external Partnership conversions, internal projects, and more.

Working in close partnership with a cross-functional program team, you will partner with other delivery and process leads to design and manage how work is delivered and have a direct impact on the bottom line of the company. This person will work collaboratively to identify complex problems and craft creative solutions, which considers both strategic goals and the operational execution/delivery of these objectives.

Although opportunities are endless, the key responsibilities are:
  • Lead high-priority new business initiatives and work streams that span across Card / Capital One to deliver critical business outcomes
  • Influence and manage stakeholders/Intent owners across COF ranging from VP to associate
  • Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
  • Drive solutions to complex problems across cross-functional teams by applying sound business judgment when working with clients that recognize trade-offs between competing priorities that influence solution delivery
  • Effectively manage scope, schedule, resources and budget and communicate status, impediments, risks/issues across all levels by understanding needs of the program and leveraging defined processes, tools & systems
  • Deliver results without direct authority and influence across all levels of the organization
  • Effectively lead other project managers

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 5 years of experience managing projects


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience with portfolio, program and project management
  • 7+ years of experience managing projects
  • 6+ years of experience with lean, agile, or SAFe framework
  • 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Project Management Professional certification
