Specialized Experience Requirement at the GS-12 Level:
To qualify, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience that prepared you to perform the duties of this position. This definition of specialized experience is work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-11), and includes duties such as: assisting in the development of design products of varying complexity for civilian, military and support for others through use of computer aided Design and Drafting (CADD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques. Coordinating design requirements and techniques with architects or engineers responsible for a variety of projects. Subject matter expert in engineering presentation and drafting, practices, techniques, and assembly of construction plans and specifications. Providing sound technical and administrative decisions for complex problems, and to determine the acceptability of the results. Reporting discrepancies to team along with suggested solutions for clarification and/or resolution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university. Additional information
- Facilitate engineering project delivery teams in the delivery of CADD/BIM products.
- Troubleshoot design software and provide solutions to technical personnel requesting assistance.
- Complete work assignments independently, within schedule and assigned budget.
- Communicate with team members and customers, to including; DoD and other Federal Agency representatives, Host Nation representatives, and international Contractors on a variety of project matters.
- Proficient in write technical documentation and memoranda, technical instructions, user guides/manuals, technical specifications pertaining to projects and general advanced modeling requirements.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. This requires that a personnel security investigation be adjudicated on a pre-appointment basis which may take up to 90 days or longer to process.
