Description ProMedica Senior Care, formerly HCR ManorCare, provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice care, home health care and rehabilitation therapy. The Receptionist is responsible for creating a warm, responsive interaction between the facility and customers, meeting specific administrative needs of residents and families, and providing the full range of administrative support to Directors. This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction. As the Receptionist, you are a member of the Administrative Team. The Business Office Manager is the coordinator of this team. Courteously greeting visitors and directing visitors appropriately. Operating switchboard and training others for relief purposes. Efficiently processing incoming and outgoing calls. Filing and copying documents as needed. Typing correspondence, written communication and reports from hard copy as needed. Location 525 - ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation - Rossville- Rosedale, MD Educational Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Position Requirements Proficient PC skills. Working knowledge of copier, fax machine, and printers. Ability to operate switchboard, previous experience with multi-line system. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to interact with a range of people in an open, friendly, customer-oriented manner. Ability to work independently. Job Specific Details: Greet everyone entering front door and exiting front door, make sure everyone signs in and out in the book. Make sure everyone has a visitors pass with the days date on it. Example: Good morning, Afternoon or Evening have a nice visit, / Good bye have a good evening (if bad weather tell them to be careful) COVID ? 19: Make sure everyone signs in on questionnaire, take temp. Extend offer to be tested for COVID with Rapid test. Ask if they have COVID vaccine and / or boosted. No Food Delivery workers should be allowed past the double doors (NO food delivery to a residents room) Attend to personal affairs before or after work, no personal visitors as in friends to hang out at front desk. Face Sheets: Admission gives the receptionist a hand written face sheet, the reception will then enter the information in PCC, all information must be correct, HRD explained that you should double check by making with a red pen, that way if you need to stop to help family, answer the phone or page, you will know where you left off. Monitoring the camera screen for Front Entrance 2 views, Back door entrance, Patio. Rossville is a non-smoking facility. Wander guard/Exit Seeker binder/book. Any resident with a wander guard that comes into the lobby will cause the alarm to sound. Receptionist will need to ask patient to step away front the door and notified nurse supervisor. Receptionist must print out patient list each day to have up-dated information.
