Insight Global is hiring for Principal GoLang Software Engineers to join our client in the Cyber Security and Internet Security sector. As a Principal Engineer you will be leading a team in using Go/GoLang to develop enhanced capabilities to existing security platforms, and design new applications and platforms in the security field. Responsibilities include:- Serve as a Senior level team leader in GoLang Software Development- Develop products and services in an Agile environment. - Implement Go Microservices: design, test, and put code into production- Work within a Linux and AWS environment. - Create, maintain, and improve API Gateways, SQL and Document-Based Databases, Kafka Streams, Elasticsearch repositories, and Redis- Performance monitoring and tuning of the services you build- Learn new technologies and concepts to advance the Security Product Portfolio Minimum RequirementsTechnical Requirements- 7+ years of Software Engineering experience with 3+ years focused on Go/GoLang based projects.- Extensive knowledge and skills in GoLang Development practices and techniques- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field- GraphQL and REST experience for API builds
