Senior Cyber Technical SME Lead Work Location: Multiple Locations; Washington, DC, Albuquerque, NM, and Germantown, MD.Clearance Requirements: Active DOE "Q" or active DoD Top Secret Its four, core requirements are: Maintain and mature the core administrative, business, and compliance operations of NNSA OCIO Maintain and mature IT and Cybersecurity Policy Strategy Establish department-wide and NNSA-specific data strategies and data governance policies Develop and mature an IT and Cybersecurity Governance and Oversight (G) StrategyRelationship with DOD, DOE a plusRESPONSIBILITIES: This key person will lead the sub team of Technical SMEs and should possess a strong level of knowledge and experience in conducting technical cybersecurity assessments. Expert in conducting cybersecurity research and remain abreast of threats to diverse Information and Operational technologies; demonstrate expert skill in executing complex technical assessments with hands-on penetration testing, Red, Blue, or Purple teaming; possess the expert ability to translate technical findings to business impact; capable of thinking outside-the-box; and is motivated. Should also have the capacity to provide informed, expert technical opinion, along with expertise to support the Federal Program Manager in all phases of planning, development, execution of the cybersecurity assessment program. YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 10+ YearsREQUIRED SKILLS: should be able to demonstrate expert ability in research, writing, and communication of technical cybersecurity topics.EDUCATION: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Engineering/Management/CommunicationCERTIFICATIONS: Technical certifications to include OSCP, CEH, GPEN, PenTest+, or related industry recognized certifications, and satisfy requirements for DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical III category. This key person shall also accomplish continuous skill development through continued professional education credits as dictated by certification requirements and perform continuous skill development in technical cybersecurity range services for a minimum of 20 hours per month.
